In the movie man on the edge the lead character Gwang ho is a right hand man of the crime boss. He is trusted by his mates and his boss. One day Tae joo try to kill him with a knife when there was some trouble. Gwang ho holds the knife with his hand and his hand starts bleeding due to the cut. Later he finds that his fate has changed due to this.

One night Gwang ho has a terrible night mare about him being killed he suddenly wakes up because of his phone ringing. He notices that he has slept for three nights straight. His intuition tells him that Tae joo is planning something suspicious.

One day when he was driving the car he Notices a wan following his car. After many attempts he succeeds and escapes from car. He starts running somewhere in order to escape from the van and a Newspaper sticks to his leg suddenly which has this ad about a fortune teller. He looks at the ad in the new paper about the fortune teller and throws it away. It keeps following him all the way he was running.

He starts believing and visits the fortune teller to know the reason. He comes to know that he was possessed by something bad and he must follow rituals to get freedom from that.

Soon he becomes both crime boss and fortune teller and faces troubles from his enemies as they try to reveal his secret double life.

The movie man on the edge follows the same story line in a very interesting manner.
